Eisenhower Decision Matrix is the most effective way to Getting THING DONE!!
The Eisenhower Matrix, helps you prioritize tasks by urgency and importance, sorting out less urgent and important tasks which you should either delegate or not do at all.
Write down all the tasks you need to do:
Whether it’s work or personal related tasks, write all down, anything comes to your mind that’s need to be done, write it down.
Divide the tasks:
Take each task and ask yourself, Is it important? Is it Urgent? Is it Not important? Is it Not Urgent?
How it works:
1- Do It Now:
Important/Urgent, Must be done now & must be done by YOU, can NEVER be delayed.
2- Schedule it
Important/NOT Urgent, Must be done by YOU, but it can be done later so you can just schedule it .
3- Delegate it
NOT Important/Urgent, Must be done now BUT you don’t have to do it yourself, so you can delegate it to your assistant or VA.
4- Erase it
NOT Important/NOT Urgent, Won’t affect you if you didn’t do it now & you don’t have to do it yourself, so just remove it from your tasks list & STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT.
